I am a big fan of the Kidorable brand.  They offer quality accessories for kids that are both functional and fun.  Whether my kids are outside jumping in puddles or simply need to dry off after taking a bath, Kidorable products seem to excel at keeping my kids happy during these slippery situations!  What’s not to like about adorable accessories that help keep my kids dry?  My kids actually like the rain because it gives them an excuse to put on their rain gear and go outside.  However, Kidorable has many other products that can be used other than in the rain.  In fact,  Kidorable cotton hooded towels get used all year round by my kids.  These towels are perfect for the bath and the beach.

We have been using Kidorable towels for several years now and my kids love them.  These towels are super cute and functional.  These cotton towels do a great job of drying off my boys.  Our Kidorable Fireman towel has easily been washed a hundred times and is still being used to dry off my son after every bath.  We recently got the Kidorable Space Hero towel, and my son has yet to take it off.  He wears it around the house and outside!

When a Wummelbox arrives on your doorstep, you know you are about to create some great memories with your little ones.  What is a Wummelbox?  It is a European-style arts and crafts subscription designed for children 3-8 years old.  The materials included in each box are held to high standards and we found them to be great quality.  I was also very impressed with the wide variety of materials provided for each activity.  Our Wummelbox even came with a children’s scissors so my son had the needed tool to complete one of the crafts.  If you want to test out a Wummelbox, you can purchase a one month subscription to receive a Wummelbox just once.  The best-selling subscription is the 3 month subscription to Wummelbox.  However, Wummelbox also offers a year-long subscription which results in 12 boxes being delivered to your door each month.

Each Wummelbox contains 3-4 activities or crafts that inspire creativity.  Every month the box will have a theme that all of the activities are based upon.  For example, The Time Travel Wummelbox arrived on our doorstep last month filled with three time travel themed activities.  The first activity was to build your own time machine.  My son loved painting his time machine.  His water turned different colors after wetting his paint brush before and after each use of color.  This activity soon took a detour that involved my son mixing and creating a secret potion.  Creating this time machine resulted in all sorts of fun!  The second activity involved creating cave paintings and then building a cave out of pillows and blankets to display your creations.  This was my son’s personal favorite! The third activity was the Hunter & Gatherer Game.  The Wummelbox included the materials needed to create and play this game with friends and family.  After this brief description of my son’s Wummelbox, you may have noticed that all of these activities required my son to create something before playing.  I think this is what makes the Wummelbox so special.  Not only do children get the excitement of receiving a package filled with unknown goodies, but it inspires them to get creative.  Who would have thought one little cardboard box filled with a few craft supplies and directions could promote the use of developmental skills?  This may be due to the fact that each and every Wummelbox is designed and tested by early childhood educators, designers, and parents.  These boxes are well thought out and both fun and educational.

Each activity comes with a set of instructions that include several step by step pictures.  This makes it really easy to do the activities in the Wummelbox.  However, the instructions leave a lot of room for creativity.  I love this feature!  For example, the Time Machine activity came with a large sheet of stickers for my boys to place on the time machine.  The instructions tell you at what point you should apply the stickers to your time machine, but they let your child choose where he or she wants to place them.  The instructions do a great job of making sure you don’t get overwhelmed by an activity, yet encourage you and your little ones to think outside of the box!  My son decided his time machine was advanced enough to operate via remote control, so he was pretending our television remote was his time machine remote.  I wonder where we are going to travel today?

My baby girl is already 3 weeks old today.  Adjusting to life with three has been challenging at times but I could not be happier!  I had a check up this week and hopefully in 3 more weeks I will be cleared of all limitations.  The one restriction I find the most challenging is not being able to lift my 2 year old…….okay I will confess I have lifted him several times now.  It hurts but sometimes he just needs me!  Have you ever broken that little rule?  I am hoping to develop some type of routine soon so I will have more free time to write about all of the fabulous products I have received recently.  You are going to love them!  Almost as much as my little Aidan loves his new baby sister:)

The end of April was quite eventful for my family.  Two weeks ago I gave birth to a healthy baby girl via C-section.  Charlotte came out crying and ready to eat.  After the C-section was complete and we were taken to the recovery room, I was able to hold my baby girl for the first time.  Charlotte latched on perfectly on her first attempt to breast feed.  The nurse was nearby to help and give any needed advice and was simply shocked when she saw baby girl succeed so quickly.  Charlotte is already very expressive and strong. She was extremely active in my tummy throughout my pregnancy so I shouldn’t be surprised by how active and alert she has been from day one.  In fact, she used to kick repeatedly near my hip bone until I was forced to stand up.  I guess she was preparing me for being a mom of three!

This photo could have so many funny captions.  For example,  I don’t know if Declan is more upset that he is no longer the baby of the family or that our new baby is a girl!  Despite this hilarious photo, the boys are loving their baby sister.  Aidan is at a great age to become a big brother again.  He loves every little thing about Charlotte.  It is so sweet to see them together.  He would talk to her in my tummy a lot, so Charlotte recognizes his voice and will always look at him when he talks to her.  Declan wants to give his baby sister attention as well but I just have to be sure he uses gentle touches.  We all know how curious a two year can be!

A few days after Charlotte’s birth we were able to go home from the hospital.  We had one day to adjust as a family of five before my oldest son’s 5th birthday.  Luckily Charlotte’s birth was a planned C-section, so I had all of Aidan’s birthday gifts already wrapped and ready for his big day.  His daddy took him on a special birthday outing since I was not up to throwing him a party just yet.  It was an amazing day to see my very first baby turning 5 years old while holding his 4 day old baby sister.  Being a parent is such an amazing gift.  I am so thankful for all three of my unique little blessings.  Be sure to show your mother’s some love this Mother’s Day!

Puj is a company founded by mother of three, Katie Richardson.  The company goal is to create fabulous products that help simplify parenthood.  Being a parent is a priceless gift but we all know how complicated that can be!  Therefore,  I was thrilled to try the new Puj Hug infant towel.  The innovative design of this towel allows you to have free hands and remain dry during bath time.  Simply place the tab on the side of the towel through the hole of the tab on the hood and the bath towel will stay securely around your neck.  This is really easy to do since the silicone is so soft.

The quality of this dual purpose towel is amazing.  If I could make the photo of this towel into a touch and feel sticker, you would truly be amazed.  This towel is so soft! The Hug is a must have bath towel for any parent with an infant.  No infants in your household?  I am happy to report that Puj has also introduced the Big Hug!  This towel is intended for children 2-8 years of age.  It has arm pockets to aid in drying off quickly and your child can hang his or her own towel to dry with the silicone tab on the hood.  My toddler actually still uses our infant Hug but once he has another growth spurt, I will have to get him the Big Hug.

The Hug is truly a smart luxury every baby and parent should enjoy!  Babies are wet and wiggly at bath time, so getting them dry can be quite a challenge.  This hands-free hooded infant towel makes bath time a much easier process for everyone.   I am able to dry my baby easily since both of my hands are free.  This also speeds up the process which makes baby very happy.  My babies never like to be cold so getting them dry and wrapped up in a soft towel quickly is and has been my number one goal at the end of any bath.  Plus, my clothing stays dry!
