PBS Kids New Splash and Bubbles App

PBS Kids recently introduced the very first app based off of its newest television series, Splash and Bubbles!  This new app allows kids to explore the ocean with their fingertips!  The Splash and Bubbles Ocean Adventure App features characters Splash, Bubbles, Dunk, and Ripple.  The Splash and Bubbles Ocean Adventure App is intended for kids ages 5 and under.  My 4 year old and 6 year old both love this app.  They being able to explore 4 different ocean habitats with the touch of a finger.  While exploring your child will come across many different sea creatures.  The silhouette of each item is pictured in a scroll across the bottom of the screen.  As the child discovers each item, the silhouette will then appear in full color.  My kids loves this and get very excited with each discovery.  I think most kids love to collect treasures, right!?  This app has over 50 collectables for kids to discover.  The kids can also learn fun facts about marine life and can even build their own ocean.  My kids love use the “treasures” they collect throughout the app to decorate and customize their own oceans.

The kids also get to choose which character to use when exploring the ocean!

PBS KIDS will premiere a new slate of episodes of Splash and Bubbles this month. An all-new Halloween episode debuts on Monday, October 16, and four new episodes air the week of September 25. The episodes will premiere on PBS stations (check local listings) and the PBS KIDS 24/7 channel and live stream, and will also be available for free on pbskids.org and the PBS KIDS Video App.

Buy It!

Splash and Bubbles Ocean Adventure App is available for purchase for $2.99 at the App Store.  My kids and I both love that there are no in-app purchases in this app.  Nothing to pop up and interrupt their exploration!

I received a promotion code in order to purchase the Splash and Bubbles Ocean Adventure App for review purposes.  All opinions are mine alone.
