Dinosaur Train A to Z Review & Giveaway

DinoTrainAtoZ

Dinosaur Train has been taking my kids on adventures for years.  This PBS Kids show is a fun family cartoon that educates children as well as many of their parents on interesting dinosaur facts. Now your kids can learn even more about dinosaurs with the NEW PBS Kids Dinosaur Train A to Z app!  This app impressed me from the very moment I opened it on my phone.  The animation is excellent and engaged myself and my kids immediately.  The Dinosaur Train A to Z app is targeted for kids ages 3-6 but the colorful animation and alphabet have already caught the eye of my 10 month old.  If you touch the dinosaur featured on the screen, it will make a sound and if you drag your finger on the dinosaur it will even move.  My boys are 3 and 5 years of age and they are both drawn to different features of this app.  My 3-year-old really likes the train and learning about which dinosaur begins with each letter of the alphabet.  My 5-year-old simply wants to know everything, so he explores this app in every way.  I especially like how this app helps my boys build their reading skills.  By simply tapping on one of the letters of the alphabet, a dinosaur will appear and Mr. Conductor will tell you fun facts about that dinosaur…..just like he does for Buddy and the rest of the Pteranodons!  The information Mr. Conductor is sharing with your child is written at the bottom of the screen and each word is highlighted as he says it so your child can read along.

One feature all of my kids are mesmerized by is the x-ray view of each dinosaur.  I find this view to be really interesting as well.  However, feeding the dinosaurs is also a lot of fun!  With one swipe of the finger, your child can be on a quick train ride exploring the alphabet and much more with this new app!
