Happy Family Organic Superfoods Review and Giveaway

Happy Family, a company owned and operated by moms,  has been creating convenient healthy foods for families since 2006.  This mom personally loves Happy Family organic superfoods and could not be more thankful for the superior taste and quality of their products.  They keep my kids coming back for more everyday.  I actually have to keep our Happy Family products on the top shelf of our pantry, so my kids can’t reach them.  If my boys could get their hands on these products without my consent, they would eat a weeks supply of Happy Family food in one day!  They simply love the taste of Happy Family foods!  Happy Family has a long list of products my kids can’t resist.  My boys especially love their Yogis, Creamies, and anything they produce in a pouch!

As if worrying about getting enough fruits, veggies, and protein into my children is not a full-time job in itself, then I have to figure out a way to sneak a little omega-3 into their diets.  I found putting a little freshly ground flaxseed in my son’s oatmeal works well whenever he eats it but on the days where he does not have oatmeal, I love to give my toddler a Happy Tots Plus.  These super pouches are filled with a mix of organic veggies and fruit and fortified with both Choline and Salba.  Choline is excellent for brain development and Salba is a gluten-free super grain packed with omega-3 fatty acids, protein, calcium, iron, and fiber.   The most amazing part is that Happy Family managed to combine all of these ingredients into flavors my toddler loves!  In fact, Happy Tot Plus is available in three different flavors.  My son is a huge blueberry fan, so I tend to buy the Happy Tot Plus Blueberry, Apple, Purple Carrot pouch for him.  His favorite Happy Tot flavor is the Green Beans, Pear, and Pea pouch.  I am always amazed that this flavor is his first choice since he absolutely refuses peas whenever I offer them to him.  In other words, don’t avoid flavor combos that have veggies or fruits your child usually dislikes.  You may be amazed at how eagerly he or she gobbles up one of these flavor combinations!

The Happy Family Brand recently became one of the few companies to produce baby food pouches that only contain organic veggies!  I am very excited about this new product because both of my boys are very picky eaters when it comes to vegetables.  They would eat fruit all day but getting them to eat a variety of vegetables is quite a challenge.  After many failed attempts I soon found out that the easiest way to sneak a couple servings of veggies into my little men is by giving them Happy Family Tot pouches.  My toddler will eat anything I offer him in a pouch but if I give him a choice of several brands, he quickly grabs his Happy Tots!  Every week I head to Target and stock up on Happy Family products.  Now I can add the new veggie filled Happy Baby pouches to my shopping list as well.  These products are extremely convenient and best of all great for my children.

Happy Tot Toddler Meal Bowls are the ultimate convenience for busy families.  The packaging is BPA free and easy to take with you anywhere.  Simply heat and eat!  I honestly did not have much hope that my toddler would eat this meal.  He is very choosy about what type of pasta he will eat and often refuses food based on how it looks.  I was super happy to discover that my little man loved the Happy Tot Organic Vegetable Ravioli!  I had to scoop the first bite into his mouth to get him to try it, but after that first bite he smiled at me and grabbed the fork.  He continued to gobble up over half of the bowl with the rest of his lunch.  My son is your typical active toddler and eats many small meals throughout the day, so I was very happy to see how much he ate.  I put his leftovers in the fridge, so he could eat them up later.  Once opened Happy Tot Toddler Meal Bowls can be refrigerated for up to 2-3 days.  Happy Tot Toddler Meal Bowls are available in four different flavors.  I plan on getting the Organic Chicken, Quinoa, and Vegetables Meal Bowl for my little man to try next.
