New CD from Mr. Steve of PBS: Orangutan Van Review & Giveaway

Many of you have most likely been welcoming Mr. Steve into your home for some time now.  He is a welcome friendly face with a soothing voice and fun lyrics that graces our tv on a regular basis via PBS.  Sometimes I think my kids enjoy those few minutes of television between cartoons more than they actually enjoy the shows.  For those few minutes that Mr. Steve sings to my kids, my children are happily enthralled in his music.  Sometimes they simply freeze up and watch every second as if it is the most amazing thing they have ever heard and other times they dance around and enjoy the song while interacting with Mr. Steve.

When I had the opportunity to preview the new Orangutan Van album by SteveSongs, I jumped all over it!  I was very excited to introduce my boys to new songs by Mr. Steve.  I love that they can enjoy his fun educational songs without having the television on in the house.  Since I am home all day with my kids, I try to keep the tv off most of the day.  Since we all enjoy a little background noise, I tend to keep music playing throughout the house.  I prefer to play kid friendly CDs but I am pretty choosy about what I play since I have to listen to the music too!  The Orangutan Van album is filled with a variety of songs that are fun, educational, and down right silly.  I love the song Bubbles!  Mr. Steve’s music is great for car rides and impromptu dance parties at home.  As an added bonus, our little dance parties help burn a lot of energy for them and calories for mom!  If you and the kids want to learn some fun dance moves (don’t worry they are very easy), check out the new Recess Rocks music video at the SteveSongs website.  This fun video takes place in a school and is full of kids and energy!  Needless to say, the song and the video are a lot of fun.  If you are looking for some fun kid friendly music, the Orangutan Van will provide one unforgettable ride for you and your family!
