National Geographic children’s books are simply amazing. The quality of these books are outstanding. Not only is the information well delivered in words that teach children while still allowing them to easily understand new concepts but the pictures are excellent as well. If you are familiar with National Geographic magazine, you are well aware of the high quality photographs featured in each issue. Needless to say, the fabulous photographs are not limited to the magazine or adults. National Geographic Little Kids books are filled with amazing photos and fun facts. These books combine learning and fun in a very attractive way. I find myself drawn to these books as much as my children. They are fun to read and we all learn so much! National Geographic Little Kids books should be on every child’s book shelf.
My four-year old has the National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Space. This is his first chapter book and he loves it. We read at least one chapter everyday and have read this book from cover to cover more times than I can count. The National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Space is a sizable book filled with 128 pages of great information about the solar system and more! This book is intended for children between the ages of 4 and 8 years old so there are also 128 excellent photographs in this book. The National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Space is really interesting and encourages great conversation between you and your child. A fun book for any family to explore.
My two-year old has the National Geographic Little Kids Look and Learn Shapes! book. This book is in board book format so he can carry it with him everywhere and it has already endured much travel and use. As you can see it even has to be apart of mealtime! Look and Learn Shapes! is a 24 page book complete with 40 colorful photographs that engage my son for hours. He loves to explore these objects and their shapes. Since this is a National Geographic book, you get much more than a nice picture book. This book is filled with fun facts and asks your child many questions to encourage exploration and discovery. The quality pictures in the National Geographic Little Kids Look and Learn Shapes! book make it a great book for very young children, yet the interactive games throughout this book allow this book to keep your child’s interest for years.
Buy It!
National Geographic Little Kids books are very fairly priced. Their books can be found online at the National Geographic store as well as many other popular retailers such as Amazon. I highly suggest checking out the great selection of kids books at the National Geographic Store. For a limited time National Geographic Store has 40% off books and DVDs and they are offering 20% off all purchases of three or more children’s books! This would be the perfect time to stock up for birthdays and other holidays. Happy reading!
I was provided a copy of National Geographic Little Kids Look and Learn Shapes! and First Big Book of Space for review purposes. All opinions are mine alone.
