Lilapops: All Natural Cough Drop Lollipops for Kids Review & Giveaway

Photo: pneumonia + pollen = we are loving lilapops!

As a parent of young children, it can be a real challenge finding a safe and effective way to relieve my children’s sore throat and cough when sick.  When I first came across Lilapops, all natural cough drop lollipops for kids, I seriously considered doing a happy dance.  Lack of sleep and sick children make this a very reasonable reaction I do believe!  Lilapops are made in the USA with natural honey and marshmallow root.  No artificial flavors. No dyes. No preservatives.  No yucky ingredients we can’t pronounce!  There are few products available for us parents to give our young children when they are not feeling well.  Lilapops were created by moms that wanted a little healthier and delicous product to help their children feel better.  Thanks to Lilapops, I now have a product in my medicine cabinet that my child is willing to take and he can finally get some relief from coughs and sore throats! To use Lilapops, simply take one Lilapop every 2-4 hours for relief.  Since hard candy is a choking hazard. Lilapops are not recommended for children under 3 years of age.

I have one child with an extremely bad gag reflex and another stubborn child who refuses medicine at all costs.  He actually quit accepting food from me for a week when I tried hiding his meds in food.  His brother or daddy had to give him the food or he would not even eat it!  Need less to say, I was thrilled to discover Lilapops because they require no swallowing or trickery to get my kids to take one.  Little A was recently sick and Lilapops made me supermom in my son’s eyes.  He couldn’t believe I was giving him a lollipop to make him feel better!

I have given my kids too many bad tasting meds for them to trust what I say, so here is Little A tenatively resting the Lilapop on his tongue!

Here he is two seconds later happily sucking on his Lilapop.  When he was done with the lollipop, he was happy and surprised to report to me that his throat felt much better and he was coughing less.

My boys love the taste and take one willing every time I offer one up.  I highly recommend Lilapops for children as well as pregnant and nursing moms.  Since pregnant and nursing moms are often unable to take meds when they are sick, Lilapops would be a wonderful source of symptom relief. You don’t have to worry about dyes or any of those other yucky ingredients that are in so many other over the counter products!  Lilapops are now a staple item in our medicine cabinet and travel kits.  I also keep Lilapops in my diaper bag and van.  I never leave home without one!
