Patch Tales To Play: The Little Engine That Could Game Review & Giveaway

I recently discovered Patch Products and their amazing series of Tales To Play games.  I have to warn you that I may gush a little bit about this company and its products because I am absolutely in love with the Tales To Play games.  These games are designed to bring children’s books to life in an extremely fun way.  Lets just say that the Patch Products series of Tales To Play Games are near and dear to this book lover’s heart!  These games allow you and your family to bond and interact with each other as well as the characters of the story.

Patch Products was founded by two brothers in 1985.  The company worldwide headquarters are based in my home state of Wisconsin!  Today, Patch Products is a leading manufacturer of family entertainment products such as games, activity kits, puzzles, and much more.  Patch Products has many educational resources that are great tools for teachers, as well as many products that will keep your child entertained while traveling.

I am so impressed with Patch Tales To Play The Little Engine That Could game.  This is by far our favorite game to play as a family.  My son is 3 and a half years old, so he just recently discovered his love for games.  I can honestly say this is the first game that my hubby and I played with my son where we were able to follow all of the rules and complete the game successfully.  This game is so much fun.  I find myself as excited as my son to play this game.  Needless to say, we play his The Little Engine That Could game again and again.

Patch Products Tales To Play games have very fun game boards and pieces.  I was impressed with the quality of the train game pieces.  Since the wheels move on these trains, my son tends to play with them even when we are not playing this game.  The trains have gone everywhere with my son.  He takes them to the grocery store, grandparent’s house, on adventures around the house, and even to bed at night.  The train track for this board game is quite fun.  My son gets very excited once his train reaches the hill.  It is like taking your train on a roller coaster ride!  The cutest part about this game is listening to my son chant, ” I think I can,” over and over while he drives his train.  While playing this game each player is supposed to say the famous words, “I think I can,” from , The Little Engine That Could, while moving their train.  The cutest part of this game is listening to my son chant, ” I think I can,” over and over while he drives his train.  The Little Engine That Could is a fun game that delivers a positive message!
