Pretty Pushers Review & Giveaway

Pretty Pushers is a company that specializes in creating stylish products for pregnant and nursing women.  With Pretty Pushers gowns you can deliver your baby in style!  The names of the Pretty Pushers delivery gowns are also super cute.  I love the “I Dream of Coffee” delivery gown.  The name and the gown are well designed and infinitely nicer than the hospital gowns I have worn for the birth of my 2 boys.  Pretty Pushers recently came out with its first nursing gown, and yes, it is pretty!

I have the Pretty Pushers Organic Cotton Nursing Gown which is made of unbleached cotton.  This organic cotton nursing gown also comes with 3 pairs of reusable nursing pads!  This gown comes in sizes ranging from small to Extra Large.  I tend to wear a size medium in maternity clothing, so I ordered a size medium nursing gown from Pretty Pushers.  The nursing gown fits me perfectly!  This nursing gown has a little ruffle detail just below the chest. Below the ruffle the gown then flows nicely down to my knees for a flattering feminine look.  The buttons on this gown really surprised me.  I could not believe how easily I can button and unbutton this gown.  I have only used the one hand snap or simply pull to the side style nursing gowns, bras, and tops before trying the Pretty Pushers nursing gown.  The wooden buttons are extremely easy to use and they look fabulous.  I think they provide a finishing touch that helps complete the natural beauty of this gown.

The back side of the Pretty Pushers organic nursing gown comes to a “V” shape at my lower back.  The back has two more wooden buttons for detail.  Since this gown ties around the neck in a halter style, it can easily be stepped into or pulled over your head when putting it on.  The one minor issue I had with the gown in the beginning was tying the gown around my neck comfortably.  The first time I wore the gown, my neck got a little sore.  Therefore, the next time I wore my organic nursing gown, I had my hubby help me tie the strings around my neck to help me get the most comfortable fit.  My advice for anyone who purchases the nursing gown or any of the Pretty Pushers delivery gowns is to put the gown on at home and tie the gown where it fits you the most comfortably.  Then pack it in your bag for the hospital with the gown still tied.  That way you won’t have to fuss with tying your gown while you are in labor or simply exhausted after having your new baby!


The six organic nursing pads come inside a carry case with Pretty Pushers logo.  I simply pull the strings to close the bag and then tie the bag around the hanger that is holding my nursing gown.  The nursing gown also has two strips of material that keep the nursing pads securely in place.  These have worked great for me. I have never had an issue with my nursing pads falling out-of-place in this gown.  They also clean up really well in the washing machine and dryer.

I think it was a great idea for Pretty Pushers to create these cute gowns as well as the postpartum underwear.  The delivery gowns have ties in the front that are convenient for delivery as well as your stay at the hospital.  I have had two c-sections and I would have loved to have one of these gowns because the nurses and doctors could simply untie the gown to check on my incision.  These products are cute and functional!  Pretty Pushers postpartum underwear even has an inside pocket for ice packs to help ease mama’s aches and pains after delivery!  Pretty Pushers products would make great gifts for any expecting or nursing mama.  Every mama loves to get great products for her new baby, but wouldn’t it be an amazing surprise to give an expecting mama a Pretty Pushers gown?  She can hold her baby for the first time while wearing a cute Pretty Pushers gown and smile happily for that picture perfect moment.  She won’t have to cringe at the photos later since she won’t be wearing an ugly hospital gown!  I hope to have one more baby someday, so I may have to get some of these other amazing Pretty Pushers products for delivery number three.  In the meantime, I am enjoying nursing my baby boy while wearing my Pretty Pushers nursing gown.

    What awesome gowns. I’ve been looking around for a while now, and am so glad that I found these Pretty Pushers. I visited the http://www.babycarriersnmore.com site and think that I like the colors of the I love sushi gown the best, but I don’t really love the images since I’m not a sushi girl! I might have to order two gowns and keep the one that I like better and give the second to my best girlfriend who will be delivering in August. :)
