Polished Mama Nail Polish

I recently discovered a fun product line called Polished Mama. I think it is really easy as a mother to put your family first and neglect yourself. I know being home with a 2-year-old and a 2 week old seems to allow me just enough free time to meet basic hygiene requirements such as a shower, deodorant, and brushing my teeth! Therefore, I love products that encourage us moms to pamper ourselves. Polished Mama has a fun and unique product line that is designed specifically for moms and moms to be! The nail polish colors even have fun names such as date night and craving.

Polished Mama Moisturizing Remover

I was really excited when my nail care kit came in the mail a few days before my scheduled c-section because it gave me the opportunity to paint my toe nails before my son was born. I thought the timing was great since I was painting my toe nails in the color, 4th Trimester! I started out by cleaning off all of my old nail polish with the Polished Mama nail polish remover. I really love that the Polished Mama product line is nontoxic and has no odor. This is especially helpful for all of the pregnant mamas using these products since pregnancy often results in a sensitivity to odors. Not to mention, you don’t have to worry about harming yourself or the baby while painting your nails! Polished Mama moisturizing remover is also a great product to keep in your house if you have young girls in the house who love to paint their nails. The gentle ingredients in this product will moisturize their skin while removing all of their nail polish.

The Polished Mama Protection System: Base Coat & Top Coat

After cleaning off my old polish, I applied the Polished Mama protection system. This is really easy and quick to apply. Even with my huge belly, I managed to paint my toe nails on the floor of my son’s bedroom while playing trains with him. The accuracy of my paint job is a little off since my son was so curious and often stuck his face right above my feet. This would block my view of where I was painting and my large baby belly didn’t allow much room for me to bend and look around him.

My nail polish color truly matched the color swatch on the Polished Mama website. My toes look a little more red on the photo just because I have my foot resting on a red blanket. I painted my toe nails the day before my son was born and my nail polish still looks great. There are no chips in the polish and my son was two weeks old on Tuesday, January 11th! This nail care system really is long lasting.
