Urban Munchkin Review

I am happy to see that there are a lot more companies making organic clothing today.  However, a lot of the organic clothing is still lacking in style.  Urban Munchkin is a wonderful company that makes modern clothing for kids with certified organic cotton and does not make you compromise on style!  I like Urban Munchkin clothing because it allows me to dress my child in organic clothing that is actually fashionable.  You can actually get the best of both worlds…….organic fabrics and fashion!

The Urban Munchkin mandala collection consists of bright colors and a fun earth friendly theme of words.  We have the adorable mandala long sleeve “love” tee.  This super soft long sleeve t-shirt is made of 100% organic cotton.  The contrasting color of the stitching on this shirt as well as the raw edging give the t-shirt extra detail that make it even more fun!  I am really impressed with our “love” tee because it is made of such quality fabric.  Children get easily frustrated with clothing that itches or is uncomfortable in any way, so the soft feel of the “love” tee was a huge selling point for my family.  The vibrant orange color of this tee is made with low impact dyes and has held up very well after being washed several times.

The Urban Munchkin basics collection is as equally adorable as the mandala collection.   This collection also has the raw edging and contrast stitching colors that gives their clothing that extra attention to detail.  I think the paradise dress pictured above is so adorable.  Your little girl could wear it with long sleeves under it during the winter and it can be worn on it’s own during the warmer months of the year.  I love dresses like this one because you can easily pair it with leggings to make a cute outfit.  Since kids grow so quickly out of their clothing, I love discovering clothing items like these that can be worn in many different ways!
